Red Rocks is such a great location. On top of being an incredibly famous music venue, it has sweeping views and the most vibrant and grandiose rocks you’ve ever laid eyes on. Ok, perhaps I am biased because I LOVE rocks that are red (shoutout to Moab and Arches National Park!) BUT come on, you have to admit that they are truly magnificent. This engagement session with Liz an Josh was SO great, not to mention QUITE slippery. We went after some snowfall on a beautiful sunny day, but despite wearing snow boots, I was falling all over the place. And poor Liz and Josh! They had on some very stylish shoes that were definitely not made for the occasion. But they were total troopers and pushed through the circumstances to get some truly fun images.

Thank you Liz and Josh for bringing you A-game and trekking up and down the amphitheater’s steep stairs to get some photos. And thanks for being prepared with practical shoes to walk around in between shots. I recommend this for all my clients, and it can be SO useful as it was in this shoot.
