WHO AM I?
Hello there, I’m Savannah and this is what I believe in.
I believe in fresh air, kisses by firesides and getting lost in the beauty of the outdoors.
I believe in camping with dogs, hiking boots that go with you everywhere, climbing up rocks and soaring down powdery slopes. I believe in finding someone to do all these things with, someone who challenges the other to go the extra mile, peep over the double-black edge, and go for it.
I believe in being surrounded by beautiful scenery as much as possible. I believe in getting out of the crowd to have more room to dance at concerts, stopping to watch a flock of birds fly over, taking an extra moment to enjoy the rain.

I'm here to join you in your adventure and capture its rawness and its authenticity. You live and love fearlessly, and I'll be right behind with my camera in hand!
Some fun facts about me…
1. I’m a Colorado native! Born and raised in Boulder, Colorado. I lived in Cali for a while, but I loved Colorado too much to stay away for long, and now I happily reside in Denver.
2. I climb a lot at Movement Climbing Gym, but I also like to get outside when I can.
3. My favorite season is winter (crazy, I know) because I LOVE skiing.
4. I’m really into electronic music, but I love any music that makes me want to dance.
5. I will always stop to pet dogs.

An engagement shoot is a great way to get more comfortable in front of the camera before your big day, plus it’s a chance to get some cute photos of you and your sweetie. Some people even use these for their wedding invitations. Find out more about engagement shoots here.

I will be there to cover your wedding day in all its glory, and my collections start at 6 hours of coverage. We’ll collaborate to figure out how many hours will suit you the best.

In addition, I host your images for a full year after your wedding.

Once I’ve delivered your gallery, the images in it are all yours to do with as you see fit!

At this point in my career, I am way more than my advanced technical skills behind the camera. I also bring six years of experience working weddings. I’ve seen every scenario you can imagine, and I can adapt quickly to the ever-changing nature of a wedding day. Events are live, you can’t take a moment back! If it’s missed, it’s missed. So, what is it like to work with me?
THE CEREMONY
Of course, what is it REALLY about?…. THE CEREMONY! I sincerely want your guests to focus on You and Your Significant Other. With that in mind, I make a very large effort to stay as fly-on-the-wall as I can throughout your ceremony. I circle around the perimeter and occasionally sneak down the aisle, but I never cross in front of anyone. I want to capture your sincere and beautiful ceremony without being a distraction. But of course, I’m going to find those shots that embody what it’s all about. The love, the laughter, the sincerity, and mostly the fact that you and your partner are there with each other. You’ll see in my pictures that the world melted away from you in that moment. You’ll look back and say, wow, I can’t believe that even happened! And you know what? It happened that way while you were so focused on the love of your life. Don't worry, leave it to me. I will be there to capture every second of it. Every, single, second. And it will be magical. And you will remember that magic forever. And so will I! It’s just as much an honor and pleasure for me to be there as it is for you to have me there capturing it.
2. THE PORTRAITS
I LOVE with a capital L.O.V.E. capturing portraits of you and your special someone. First of all, you look as fiiiiiiine as can be. And second of all, 10, 20, 50 years from now, won’t it be fun to look back at your younger selves? You’ll show your kiddos and they’ll say, wow, mom and dad, you looked like THAT?! 3. THE DETAILS
I’m here to tell your story. Your story isn’t just about the two of you, it’s about your loved ones who surround you on your big day. It’s also about those pretty little details. You know, those gorgeous flowers you picked? They were so vibrant and I want you to remember them! The lace in your dress, the polka dots on your suspenders? Yes, they seem like small bits of the bigger picture. And, they are! BUT remembering those details helps paint a fuller picture of your special day. I want to find those details and capture them for you! Of course, this won’t be my main focus, but I do believe it’s important to hold on to those special bitty bits and pieces.
4. THE PARTY
And, where would your wedding be if it weren’t for your insanely beautiful/compassionate/weird/wild/incredible guests? Don’t you worry, I plan to capture pleeeeeeennnnnnty of pictures of them. They really fill out your story. Not only do they fill out the story of your day, but they fill out the story of the two of you. There is a reason you invited them! "She made us feel at ease..."
We loved working with Savannah, and we LOVED her photographs. Savannah is absolutely an artist who is dedicated to her craft. She made us feel at ease and helped us relax, while (when appropriate) giving us instructions that led to the most gorgeous photos. I look at some of these photos and feel like a model (which I am definitely NOT, haha).
Our wedding had 2 different venues, with several outdoor and indoor spaces. Savannah had both the equipment and know-how to deal with every lighting situation - from high noon facing the sun, to 10pm in a dark reception space lit up mostly by glow sticks. And the cherry on top: we got our photos ahead of schedule. We highly recommend Savannah to anyone. We will treasure her photographs for the rest of our lives.

"So easy to work with..."
Savannah photographed our wedding in Feb. 2018 in Breckenridge, CO. My husband and I are just now getting around to making our wedding book and it reminded us of how good of a photographer Savannah is! She was so easy to work with, too. The day was quite crazy (like 10" of snow!), and she handled it all extremely well! It was probably tough conditions to shoot in, but the pictures are beautiful. To top it off, it was easily the best value we received of any service we received for our wedding day. Thank you so much, Savannah!

"The photos give us joy..."
We absolutely loved having Savannah as our wedding photographer! She was simultaneously invisible and yet everywhere at the same time, and she was able to direct me and my husband in a way that gave us amazing, natural looking photos. We also LOVED all the detail shots! Looking back on the photos gives us such joy. There are some that I just can't believe she captured because I can't imagine how she got from one location to another so quickly. We aren't the most traditional couple, and her online communication, over the phone communication, and in person communication was responsive to what we wanted, even if it wasn't the same list of the 27 photos/poses you take with your family. Overall, we had an amazing experience with Savannah, and would highly recommend reaching out to see what she can capture for you!
